Prof. Huu Hao Ngo of the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) gives Lectures in XAUAT

Invited by Prof. Xiaochang Wang, Prof. Huu Hao Ngo from University of Technology Sydney (UTS)gave lectures entitled Bioenergy from wastewater and Conceptual Principles for Development of New End Uses in Recycled Water Schemes to the graduate and PhD students of the School of Environmental and Civil Engineering at XAUAT on March 30, 2016, Xian, China.

 

Prof. Huu Hao Ngo is an academic with more than thirty-five years of professional experience in Australia and Asian countries. Presently, Ngo is Professor of Environmental Engineering and serving as Deputy Director of the Centre for Technology in Water and Wastewater (assigned by Director) and Research Theme Coordinator-Sustainable Water: Treatment and Reuse Technologies and Management.

 

Prof. Huu Hao Ngo is internationally well known for his activities in the areas of wastewater treatment and reuse technologies, which include advanced biological waste treatment (aerobic and anaerobic membrane bioreactors, specific attached and/or suspended growth bioreactors, biosorption, wetlands), membrane technologies (membrane hybrid system, desalination), and physical-chemical separation technologies as pretreatment or post-treatment (adsorption, flocculation and filtration).
