Prof. Xiaochang Wang delivers keynote address at the 2015 IWA Alternative Water Resources Conference, Nanjing, China

Prof. Xiaochang Wang was invited to attend and give a keynote speech at the 2015 IWA Alternative Water Resources Conference held on 27 May 2015 in Nanjing, China, which was organized by International Water Association (IWA) and Hohai University.

This event gathered scientists, practitioners, and entrepreneurs from all over the world to exchange their opinions and experiences in a broad range of topics on alternative water resources development. The event aimed to promote the sharing of knowledge and experiences on the development of alternative water resources (AWR), which are options for a certain sustainable demand-resources balance.

The themes of the event included looking for efficient alternatives, planning and designing of systems for using AWR, analyses and assessment tools, policies and management. As chairman of China Chapter of IWA Alternative Water Resources Cluster, Prof. Xiaochang Wang delivered a keynote speech entitled "Potential of Alternative Water Use for the 'Eight-Rivers Regeneration' Project in Xi'an "at the event.
