AWRERI and Water Environment Institute of BEWG sign MOU for Cooperation

On 17th October, AWR Environmental Research Institute (AWRERI) signed MOU with Water Environment Institute of Beijing Enterprises Water Group Ltd. (BEWG). Prof. Xiaochang Wang, the director of AWRERI, Prof. David Garman, the former president of International Water Association (IWA), CTO of the Water council, Prof. Yuyou Li from Tohoku University, Dr. Qionghua Zhang, the vice director of AWRERI were invited to attend the signing ceremony. Mr. Min Zhou, the CEO and other senior leaders of BEWG Group were in attendance. Besides, Prof. Jiuhui Qu, the Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering from Tsinghua University, Dr. Tao Li, the director of IWA China Regional Office were also invited to attend the signing ceremony.

Mr. Li Li, the CEO of BEWG Group delivered the welcome address and expressed gratitude for the visit of Prof. Xiaochang Wang and other specialist. Mr. Li indicated that BEWG Group pay high attention to resources of the senior specialists which would be essential for group future development. 

At the ceremony, Prof. Xiaochang Wang on behalf of  AWEERI signed MOU with Water Environment Institute of BEWG Group. Prof. Xiaochang Wang indicated that AWRERI and BEWG Group will take efforts to foster the development of urban water environment and enhance competitiveness of both side.

Besides, Prof. Xiaochang Wang, Prof. Jiuhui Qu, Prof. David Garman and Prof. Yuyou Li gave keynote speeches respectively in the aspects of water environment management in China, USA and Japan at the ceremony which arose wide attention of the attendants.
